Many talk about excellence in today's society. About excellence at work, at play, winning competitions and getting that perfect GPA. Many talk about leadership, with people running for executive positions and the like. However, less talk about commitment, as it is no longer a trend in today's fast-paced world. People are job hopping. No longer is being committed a valuable characteristic. But only with commitment can you grow, from your failures, from the many hours learning - from discovering yourself. What about integrity? Many preach about that. Many pride themselves of being responsible adults with a conscience - but integrity is not something to show the world. It is something that feeds the inner soul. However, you cannot achieve this yourself. We need people. Collegiality is something very much overlooked, as many would like to rely on your own abilities. But with people comes synergy, and with synergy comes success.
